Region: Central Otago, NZ Varietal: Pinot Noir Vintage: 2009 Alc Vol: 13.5% Approx Standard Drinks: 7.7 Notes... Complex layers of red berry fruit, raspberry, cherry and blackberry. Hints of earthy tones and forest floor, and lovely toasted oak. Raspberry, cherry, supple game flavour, with strong ripe and smooth tannins. Finishing with the slightest hint of integrated oak.
Occasions... Very special wine that absolutley covers all events, drinking occasions and gift giving requirements. Food...Duck, Pizza, Pasta, Vegetarian, Hamburger, Soft Cheeses, Sausages, Lamb, Beef, Veal, Pork, Tuna, Trout, Japanese, Tosh Says... Ant Moore is one of the upcoming stars of winemaking and he certainly struck gold (or should that be cherry red!) with this number. Winderfeully complex and a little too easy to drink, I think the best way to describe it is impressively moorish!
