KOLSCH... Light straw in colour. Aromas of lemon/lime prelude a light malty palate, finishing crisp and clean showing hints of spice and citrus.

PALE ALE... A colourful deep Ruby Amber appearance. Aromas of Pine and Grapefruit overlay a malt background. On the palate full bodied malty flavours with a tight and bitter finish.

STOUT... A dry Irish style stout, presenting almost black, bearing a generous tan head. The aroma profile is of coffee, chocolate and caramel malts. These are matched on the pallet with a full bodied, smooth finish and a balancing bitterness.

Notes... Sweden has an age-old vodka distilling tradition. Vodka was first sold legally in Sweden in 1498 by a Stockholm tavern keeper. Absolut Vodka was introduced in Sweden in 1879 as "Absolut rent branvin" - "Absolutely pure vodka". Lars Olsson Smith, famous entrepreneur and father of Absolut Vodka, applied a new method of distillation using rectification. The result was the purest vodka ever produced.

CC Cool Factor...6/10 Good vodka. Looks good. Still has some coolness to it but that has sort of faded away as it has become a mass circulated vodka. You can pretty much get it anywhere these days so has lost a bit of its allure. Probably one step up from Smirnoff but not in the higher realms of brands like Purity, Snow Queen and Belvedere.

The vodka is sharp but nice. You've got to like ginger though to have it straight. Subtle enough. Works really well with soda or similar. Almost like your very own alcoholic vodka ginger beer. Now that's cool.

CC Cool Factor...8/10 Wild cherry. Something about that name that drives us wild. It looks cool. Long, lean...different shades of deep purple. Crush some ice, pour it in and you have an instant drink that looks sensational but drinks like a Sunday afternoon soda. Chuck some soda in if you want bubbles...or blow into it through a straw! A top beer, with the nuttiness giving good mouth weight, and a nice clean finish. Both very important when you speak like James Earl Jones!

Tosh Says... Finally a bitter ale I truly enjoy! So many bitter beers leave me with a 'blah' back of palate taste. If it isn't hidden by icy coolness, as the beer warms up, the after taste becomes almost unbearable. This beer is very nicely made obviously as it has a lot of flavours going on (tart, citrusy in patches) but they all come together beautifully in the end. And I don't hate the world because of some sub standard after taste that makes me bitter!!!

Tosh Says...Has been one of our most popular beers in recent times. The biscuity malt is without doubt the standout flavour feature - its like you get all your favourite malt from a once upon favourite childhood biscuit treat - but then the subtle fruit on the finish snaps you back to a very pleasing reality.
